We could still see her, and when we passed the road where she took her turn, we all called at her, ‘Come back, come back!’”

Greatest Racing Moment: “Being the Queen of the Mountain at my first Green Mountain Stage Race.”

Most Painful Moment In Life: “Losing my Dad.”

Worst Injury from Racing: “Crashing over a pack of girls, and having some chainring cut my left calf’s muscles.”

Funniest Racer: “The Racer, by Tim Krabbe. Real racers in real races are not funny — not in my experience so far at least. Their thoughts in writing can be very funny, though. Read The Racer!”

Favorite Race: “Green Mountain Stage Race. I love Vermont. It reminds me a lot of the place where I grew up in France.”
