“Welcome to a premiere XTERRA national point series race!
Wawayanda State Park is located less than 50 miles from New York City yet offers lush forest filled with single track trails.
Your triathlon adventure starts on the beach of pristine Wawayanda Lake where you will enter the water for an 800 yards swim (actually two 400 yards separated by a short beach run). Next you will enter transition area and head out for 12 miles of mountain biking with plenty of technical single track featuring all aspects of this amazing park – dirt, rock, pine needle carpet and swamp. After mountain biking you will enter transition and head out for a 5 mile trail run. The run will start off easy and then head into another area of single track before wrapping back and sending you to the finish as a victorious XTERRA Warrior!”
