Worst Injury from Racing: “In 2013 I went over my handlebars at 30mph. I’d jumped off the front the field, came through a turn to hot and when I started to pedal I started to lose the rear wheel. That’s when the pedal struck the pavement and propelled me up and over. The next thing I remember is the paramedic palpating my back asking if I could feel things. Concussion, fracture on the top of the pelvis, and a dislocated coccyx.”

Closest Racing Friends: “Ben Steavenson, Ryan Wohlrabe, and the rest of the Bicycle Heaven crew.”

Funniest Racer: “No idea. We’re not too chatty while racing.”
