Wednesday Worlds

Coach Lundgren arrives at 5 to workshop parts of the course and to go over any questions you might have. The practice session starts at 6 with group warm-up laps, two form drills, then a few race heats, followed by cyclocross intervals and Starts. All riders of all skill levels are welcome to join. Please bring your CX bike or MTB; helmets are required.

FRI 9/4 | Friday Night PACELINE PRACTICE at 6pm

Paceline Practice

Arrive at Elite Endurance campus by 5:50pm so we can go over route details and paceline commandments (park on Degraw Road and spin down driveway). The ride is 80min, 3 loops, 23 mph average — fun times, no dropped riders, zero issues on the road.

The strong riders pull, weaker riders can do short pulls or stay near the rear, learning how to sweep economically. We are all friends and create a supportive ride dynamic — all riders benefit.

Wheels down at 6 sharp. We will spin out of Riverdale at easy pace, then full pacelining once we amble across route 23 and into TT territory.

The route knifes through Pompton Plains and Pequannock, down to Lincoln Park and back. The roads are wide and safe and fast, perfect terrain for what we will be doing.

NOTE: if you won a leader’s jersey in the TOUR, wear this jersey to all Elite Endurance ride events. Scott Sugent won the yellow jersey, David Schwartz won the polka-dot jersey, Chris Santalucia won the green jersey, and Jennifer Defalco won the red Femme jersey.
