In the summer of 2005, Daniel Goldsmith began to ride his bike around town in hopes to start to get in shape as his brother Matt inspired him to get into cycling. Dan became more and more interested in racing as he began to watch cycling videos.
Soon, Dan was riding with Matt, training 1-2 hours a day, 5 days a week. He was totally sucked into the sport. Only having zero quality equipment, Dan then got a job at Westwood Cycle. By November he got a used Giant OCR2 and began doing the group rides, training year-round and addicted to the sport.
Dan currently competes for the Westwood Velo/Trade Manage Racing team. In 2006, he managed to do three criteriums. In 2007, he raced 14 times, including a time trial.. Dan’s goal is to get his fitness to the next level with Elite Endurance Training Systems!
